Strap at full extension is 22” long which makes the purse drop to 36” when on. Inside is a lined, 3-compartment-center one zips shut AND a zipper compartment on side for keys and lipstick Entire purse has a top zip closure w/outside leather and silver closure. Purse is in mint condition as I only used it a few times. The outside Silver circle & tip have slight scratches from opening & closing. No other scratches, scuffs, etc Lining is spotless This purse is fabulous
