Neiman Marcus Brocade Hostess Vest 1960s

Gorgeous 1960s hostess top from Neiman Marcus. Meant to be worn over leggings or hot pants. A soft brocade fabric with a stylized floral print that has a bit of shimmer from a metallic thread. The neckline is snug, definitely for a slender neck. The lower back of the waist has a nice detail made from a rope embellishment. A slender fit then and now, it is a slim fit size XS to S today. Condition: No tears, loose seams or stains but there is some fading around the top of the collar. Measurements (lay flat unless otherwise stated): pit to pit 17” waist 16” hip 17” armhole opening 8” neck opening is 6” across length from shoulder to hem is 34” hem across bottom is 22” shoulder to shoulder seam in back is 14”
