cathyfrangos @mema4kids it was the model for the upscale department store you could buy almost anything there from buttons to haute couture. my mother used to sew and she would go to Marshall Fields to their button department for the special buttons on her dress or suit

mema4kids @cathyfrangos Did you pick up her sewing skills? I think those days are gone for stores like that, we once had a Harris, in Bakersfield, closest to upscale you good get. I was born in Miami, so Dadeland Mall expanded to include all the upscale stores...It was fun to look...my grandmother said I always had champagne taste and a beer pocketbook...LOL

I love her and the documentary made me fall in love with her vintage style..shopping in Harlem.. she’s not about labels, just style and she literally created the word “extra” lol I love your close! 💕

retrofactory @cathyfrangos yes! I bought a pirates of the Caribbean costume and sewed the vest off and get so many compliments. She made me feel normal and I adore her. I actually have a design of hers I found at a thrift shop from when she went to India for fabrics. It’s too big but I wrapped it with a belt and wore it as a dress. No basics allowed! Always be extra and always be different and yourself! ;)

lydiadan1 My sales have been very good but I don’t have the high end items like you which are amazing 😊. My inheritance items and my personal items. Are selling quite well. I love to give great bundle deals. And I have great return buyers. I also do the BAY which is quite njce. So we use the mkney to supplement our recent retirement. Which is a big help.
