But I've run 3 marathons in this model shoe and I could not recommend more if you're looking for a stability shoe! Thanks to the Fresh Foam midsole, the 860v11 delivers a soft landing and energetic response—perfect for racking up big mileage. But the switch to Fresh Foam didn’t change the defining feature of the 860: its stability. New Balance used a firmer piece of foam under the arch to develop a stable feeling. The medial post helps reduce the effects of overpronation and keep you running smoothly.
