I would say closer to a 7 to be safe. she was gifted it for her 8th birthday and it fit but perfectly snug. but she's on the petite side. (she didn't like the high neck)
so it should fit like a typical 7/8 medium dance/ gymnastics. 🤞🏼🤞🏼
