@jmohr16 oh no! that's high rise territory lol ! If you are for sure it's 9 inches, you don't have to if you don't want to, because I cannot wear high-rise jeans, they look terrible on me 😂😆

@jmohr16 .... which is why I always have to make sure I get measurements because I have bought so many pairs of jeans that I end up having to get rid of because the fit is bad 😔. Thanks for letting me know!

@jules1717 hi, they are definitely not high rise, however look at the picture and make sure that is how you wanted it measured given the design of the jean:)

@jmohr16 yes, correct, you measure from the crotch up to the top of the waistband! I found this definition on line:
High-rise, have the longest seam between the crotch and waistband. High-rise jeans measure between 9”- 11” front seam and around 14” back seam. They typically sit higher on your torso or just above your bellybutton depending on your height.
All I know is, they look silly on me! 🤪
