This lovely mid-century vintage swan bowl / trinket dish from the New Martinsville Viking Glass Company is a stunning piece of art glass. The dish is made from high-quality glass and features a unique two-toned color combination of amber and crystal clear glass. Since these pieces were handblown, no two are identical, making each swan bowl one of a kind. The bowl is heart shaped, which is also known as the "sweetheart" shape. This particular dish can be found in Spencer’s “Glass Animals” book as #974.
This 1950s Viking swan dish has a smooth, curving body and graceful neck. The amber glass adds a warm and inviting glow, while the crystal glass accentuates the swan's details and gives the dish a modern and sophisticated look. This trinket dish can be used to serve nuts or candy, to hold jewelry or to store paperclips and other office supples. It's a beautiful MCM piece in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.

@natzaske, let me know if you'd like this guy! I'm going to be shipping tomorrow so I could get him packed up tonight. Also, I have a couple of other amber-colored pieces; I'm not sure if you saw them or would be interested but I'm happy to bundle.

Do you have documentation to confirm it came from New Martinsville?
breezy300
@bets18 Hi there. No, I don't have documentation but this piece has the same base and shape that New Martinsville / Viking is known for. Thanks for asking!
