New Mexico trucker hat vintage???

Another from my grandfathers estate, this looks vintage, and when where hats $2.99, it looks might not have been worn and just fading, but I'm not sure. It definitely looks vintage, and the mesh feels different from today's modern caps. it feels stiffer. 70's80's??? also, this seems to run on the smaller side. Measures 23.5 inches around on the inside around on the last available hole strap.
