This Little Girl's Smocked Romper is AMAZING!! The outfit is done by Carriage Boutique -a branch of Feltman Brothers! The entire bodice is smocked with a gorgeous lattice design embroidery with bullion rosebuds. A Peter Pan collar done in a contrasting white has white trim that is hand-faggoted with a pink threading (a high-end stitch in children's heirloom clothing). The pink stitching is very unique!! Gathers at the waist fall into soft pleats down to the legs. The front of the legs are banded for a tailored look and the back has elastic for comfort. Arm openings are trimmed in a matching piping. A tie back sash makes for a perfect fit. Inseam snap for easy changes. The "shorts" length is wonderful for toddlers instead of a basic bubble length which hits at leg creases.
