New old stock NOS / NWOT / Rare Never used but has slight cosmetics imperfections from storage Circa Early to Mid-1950s Listing is for 1 case. Sunglasses shown are for illustrative purposes only. Unisex. I believe these cases were used for ladies acetate cat-eye sunglasses and similar models. The sunglasses or eyeglasses style(s) stored in it need to be fairly flat when folded in order for the snap to close. Solid Deep Apple Red Exterior Inside has Bausch & Lomb Ray-Ban Sunglasses Made in U.S.A. with B&L inside an upside down triangle imprinted in upper left. No cracks, rips, holes, or melting. Original, not stretched out vinyl strap on the bottom inside to hold the glasses or sunglasses in place. Functioning, original coated metal snap. Vinyl lining with a very fine texture that enhances grip. Lightweight, compact, folding style with open sides. Outside and inside liner are vinyl. The outside layer is has a low relief texture to it that resembles a linen weave. Metal snap closure is white with triangle logo emblem on the front. White marks to exterior backside and mild areas of yellowing on the interior as shown. The vinyl is very durable, water resistant, and wipes clean. Little to no tarnishing or rust. Snap is secure. No odor.
