SABATIER Laguiole 3 Piece Cheese Set: Vintage old stock with slight aesthetic damage present on the plastic casing and unfinished interior wood tray, but otherwise in perfectly new condition. (Back of the box reads): "Every cheese deserves its own knife; each Sabatier cheese knife is shaped based on the type of cheese, its size and its consistency. The bell-shaped knife is used for semi-hard cheeses such as Emmental, Provolone, Fourme, Tomme and soft Pecorino. Brie, Camembert, Tomme de Chevre and Taleggio spread easily with the spatula shaped knife or Roquefort and Morbier can be cut with it. The heart-shaped knife is best with harder cheeses such as Pargigiano-Reggiano, Comte and Pecorino Romano. Every rosewood cheese knife handle is crafted and finished by hand. The natural reddish-brown color enhances the attractiveness of the cheese knives. Rosewood is a durable hardwood but, to maintain the natural beauty of this set, we recommend the following care. Hand wash blades in warm soapy water only. Wash immediately after use and thoroughly dry blades and handles. Wood polishing oils can be used as needed to maintain the look and shine of the handles.
