@specialteacher2 Hello, thank you for Inquiring! The armpit to armpit measurement is 20.5 inches. I also want to add that I just updated the listing because after measuring the coat just now I realized that the coat is not actually a hooded coat but a faux fur collar around the neck. Apologies for any inconveniences!

@specialteacher2 Hello again! Please disregard my last comment about there being no hood with the coat. The neck of the coat has a zipper and the hood is folded down inside and can be taken out or put back in for storage!
