New knee-length Stetson denim skirt

New denim skirt, hits just over the knees for me (and I’m 5’9”.) Adorable, stylish, and a compliment-getter! Just purchased this summer but it’s simply too tight for me (and there is zero stretch - true denim) and I can’t make it work. Wore it twice - an amazing summer concert skirt! I feel like the pictures make it look more acid wash than it actually is.
