Is the opal real or lab created
alstromeria17
This very much appears to be labradorite, a beautiful stone, but is definitely not an opal. Suggest updating your post.

@alstromeria17 okay! I’m sorry! I was looking for when you ordered this? Can you please tell when that was I wanted to see your purchase.
alstromeria17
@monicarhodus12 sorry, I don’t understand what you’re asking :)
monicarhodus12
@alstromeria17 I’m sorry. Because you said it isn’t what I have listed In my description I wanted to contact the manufacturer and make a complaint on behalf of my customer. So in order to do that I need to know when you ordered this from me. Thank you 😊
alstromeria17
@monicarhodus12 I have never ordered anything from you, but your listing is incorrect. This is not an opal. If you were told it was an opal, you were lied to, but you should also know that there is virtually no chance you’d get an opal at the price you’re offering (which means it’s even less likely at whatever price you’re paying). I stand by my guess it’s labradorite. Have a great day!

@alstromeria17 Oh well , in that case I’m sorry I’ll look into your accretion. But I would imagine that most people understand that it’s either a simulated opal or a lower level podge opal at 25.00 an not the higher grade. Which podge is what I think this is In the Outback Where opals comes from podge is a natural form of low grade opal still used in a lot of jewelry. Thank you. Have a blessed day.

@monicarhodus12 this is not an opal nor a labradorite. It’s a moonstone. Very beautiful one I might add. Labradorites are a stone made up of iridescent blues and greens lots of times with oranges and yellows swirled in as well. Wish I could post a pic for you cuz they are Amazballs! I have a huge collection of them as well as opals, fire opals and moonstones. Both of you be blessed and safe out there:)
blondebearlvr
is this stamped sterling silver?
.925?
monicarhodus12
@blondebearlvr it appears to be stamped I just cannot read it. Im a little blind when it’s that small. Lol.
starsha27
Keep in mind that if there is no decimal point B4 the 925, then it is silver plated and not pure sterling. The dot is the most important thing to look out for when choosing quality among silver jewelry.

@starsha27 I'm so glad you commented pointing out it was a moonstone 'cause I was confused about the posting listing it as an opal also! It is a beautiful moonstone (one of my favorites, and my birthstone!) That's good info about the decimal before the stamp, I had not previously known that about how to tell the difference between plated and pure sterling silver. Thank you for your comments!
monicarhodus12
@sandydee5 hi yep she did well with the information I’m no jewelry expert so any accurate info is great info.
