Heel is approx 3 inches and they have been well loved. The leather has some scratches and they come from a smoke free and pet friendly home. The bottoms have black sole protectant glued on to prolong the life of the shoes. The zippers work but you have to fight a bit with the left bootie. The insides the writing has worn off and toward the toe the inserts are a bit wrinkled
