“Night,” by Elie Wiesel, and translated by Marion Wiesel

This is a semi-memoir, as it was translated by Elie Wiesel’s wife, Marion. It is a terrifyingly first account of being a teenager in the concentration camps. He recounts the treatment of everyone, as well as endures the death of his family, and as he recalls the death of his innocence. Everyone should read this book. Winner of the Nobel Peace Prize.
