The Air Max 97 Plus 'Silver Shark' earns its namesake from the Air Max Plus upper that was famously nicknamed “Le Requin” by the French for its resemblance to a shark. A nod to its apex predator inspiration, the hybrid silhouette’s patent leather mudguard and mesh Air Max upper are represented in blue and white while the signature overlay features a gradient of blue that fades to shimmering silver. Other details include metallic silver accents and logos, a clear Air Sole, and black rubber.
