Nike Air Force 1 Low Top Doernbecher (2019) The Nike Air Force 1 Low “Doernbecher 2019” is patient Zion Thompson’s playful remaking of the classic low-top as part of the charitable Nike Doernbecher Freestyle 2019 collection. (Doernbecher Freestyle represents a partnership between Nike and OHSU Doernbecher to provide young patients facing serious medical conditions the opportunity to design limited-edition footwear to support the children’s hospital.) The “Doernbecher 2019” colorway sports an embroidered floral motif in the shape of the Nike Swoosh. The rose flower design can also be found on the heel. White leather covers the base of the shoe with a tonal embossed rose pattern on the toe cap and eyestay panel. Pink leather accenting wraps around the mudguard and the leather heel tab; see last photo for scrapes on heel tab. A repeating “Survivor” graphic is printed onto the rose pink insole.
