The Nike LeBron 15 ‘Ashes’ was inspired by the idea of looking toward LeBron James’ future by honoring the smoldering embers of his past. That image is evoked through the coarse mix of black, white and grey on the high-top’s Battleknit upper, complemented by solid black on the rope laces, leather pull loops and molded heel counter. The white midsole, finished with light black speckling, is fitted with a hybrid cushioning system made up of both Zoom Air and Max Air units. The Nike LeBron 15 GOAT made its debut just in time for the start of the 2017-18 NBA season. Nicknamed the "Ashes" edition, they come in a clean black and white colorway. Designed by Jason Petrie, the sneaker features a black-based evolved Flyknit Battle upper with a full-bootie construction, Max Air and Zoom Air cushioning, a white sole and paint splatter detailing.
