History of the special edition Cortez shoe: The Senorita Cortez, the first women’s version of the Nike Cortez, launched in 1974 and helped the Cortez become a mainstay in women’s footwear. The Senorita lives on through the November 2018 release of the Wmns Classic Cortez SE 'Velvet Red Crush' sneaker. The tonal shoe is washed in plush velvet, underscored by a floral motif with subtle metallic gold trimmings for a royal-inspired look. Personal Note: These shoes have never been worn.
