According to legend they were ABA's worst team in 1975, their disastrous season changed course when a time-traveling spaceship arrived in Roswell. On board were Dr. Fununk and his star team, straight from the 2000s. Not to spoil this fantastic story, but Dr. Funk, played by Toronto Raptors superstar Vince Carter, and his crew (Jermaine O'Neal, Paul Pierce, Baron Davis and Jerry Stackhouse) were part of an advertising campaign by Nike from 2002.
