Autofocus motor smooth and functions properly. NO FOCUS MOTOR NOISE OR SQUEAKS. Metering works properly. No scratches or nicks on front or rear elements. There is no visible lens haze or fungus present. Auto focus smooth for age of lens. Comes with the optional Nikon CL-43A hard case which I stored this lens in regularly.
