Nora Kogan Black Diamond Flower Ring -Originally purchased at ABC Carpet & Home in NYC purchased under her previous brand name, St. Kilda.
This ring was originally purchased at ABC Carpet & Home. If you have ever been there (before it changed ownership) you know they sold unique and pricey designer items. This is a previously owned item but never worn. I'm sorry you have to see this beautiful ring on my old hands, but this is the best pic & video I could get. It is super pretty and I don't think you will see anyone else wearing it. This is no longer sold on her website or at ABC Carpet & Home.
Specifications:
Ring Size: 6.5
Gemstone: Black Diamond
Material: Sterling Silver (tested by independent Jeweler & confirmed by designer. but not marked)
Measurement: Black Diamond Flower measurement at it's largest point is approximately 3/8"
*original receipt shown in pics.

Hi,what metal it’s made of? Thanks
meechelles
@charoskoz Hello. I believe it is 18k gold with a black matte patina as those are the materials she uses. I am at wok today but will check when home to see if there are any markings. You can see an example of the material on hr website and description: https://norakogan.com/collections/rings/products/copy-of-black-matte-diamond-pave-blue-sapphire-ring

@charoskoz Howvere, my ring is not as black. So it may be another process on the gold.
charoskoz
@meechelles okay, thanks. Please check if any hallmarks with numbers as that’s indication of the metal. I don’t use silver but if blackened gold then fine
meechelles
@charoskoz I get it! I don't do silver either. I will check tonight.

@charoskoz Hi Again! I just checked the ring and yo not see any markings, except for what appears to be an uppercase "N" which makes sense given the designer's first name. I am wondering if it is white gold, platinum or possibly silver as the material (band) is not black, but rather, closer to a silver color. I have e-mailed the designer to see if she can let me know. I will post a reply when I have a response.

@meechelles hi,okay thank you

@charoskoz Hello! I heard back form the designer. They said they are 95% sure it is silver. FYI - I have ordered a metal test kit to come in a week or so to test is as I need to know for sure ;)

@charoskoz Hello again! Ok, I have tested the ring. It indicated that it is gold somewhere between 1-18K. It did test all the way up to 18K. If it helps, I don't ever purchase silver jewelry for myself (only gold). So I wouldn't have purchased this in the first place if it was silver. . I forgot to mention that. And I certainly wouldn't pay over $900 for silver ;)
charoskoz
@meechelles hi,if designer maker of this ring said it’s 95% silver then that should be accurate. I’m sorry but I can’t take a risk. Thanks for your efforts
meechelles
@charoskoz No problem. I understand. FYI - The designer rep did not inspect the ring. They were trying to recall from memory as they do not make this ring anymore. I shall likely take this to a professional at a jewelry store to test it properly. For now I am taking it off sale .Best!
