Preowned, vintage and poetic Norma Kamali OMO cocoon style jacket, likely made in the early 1990s. Made from black silk/rayon blend velvet, this fabulous jacket features huge batwing sleeves with shirring at the yoke and sleeve bottoms. It fastens with a hook/eye closure and a decorative black frog closure. Incredibly rare and amazingly chic, this jacket is perfect for your formal events - or for anytime you're looking to elevate your street style! Norma Kamali can be seen wearing this same style jacket while in her showroom back in the 90s (see image 2). Made in the USA. Silk/Rayon blend; dry clean only. Fully lined in black silk. Tagged size 6. Approximate measurements: shoulders - 17in, bust - up to 42in, hips - up to 42in, sleeves (taken from natural shoulder) - 26in, shoulder to hem - 38in. Preowned/vintage (30+ years old) with signs of age, use and prior wear: some light rubs to areas of the velvet, hard to see unless very closely inspecting; some of the frog closure pieces have loose stitching and should be reinforced.
