This insulation jacket is made for mountaineering but is suitable for a wide range of outdoor activities ranging from hiking to skiing. The face fabric is a lightweight aeroDownproof fabric, because it provides an excellent combination of low weight, breathability, and great wind protection. It is insulated with premium, recycled PrimaLoft® Gold Insulation Cross Core™ insulation which offers great warmth-to-weight values. The main fabric is a lightweight (45g/m2) 30D 100% recycled nylon rip-stop cordura. This quality is ideal against rugged surfaces, and is highly windproof and water repellant. The insulation is a recycled PrimaLoft® Gold Insulation Cross Core™ with aerogel fibers which offers an outstanding warmth-to-weight ratio. Aerogel is known as the world’s lightest solid, this quality utilizes its great insulation properties into outdoor gear. To ensure maximum performance, we are using 100 g/m2 of insulation in the body and 80 g/m2 in sleeves and hood. Key features include a storm hood fitted for climbing helmet with one-hand adjustment, two hand warming pockets with extra insulation, two napoleon pockets, a mesh inner-pocket, elastic cuffs with thumb holes and an adjustable hem.
