A Gorgeous Handknit NOS Norwegian Sweater. In “pure new wool” made in Norway in the early 1960s - New Old Stock - so it is in perfect never used brand new condition ! This is a beautiful sweater in what I think are the most Norwegian colors of blue and white with 9 silver colored classic handmade pewter buttons . I am a knitter so I get very excited when I find sweaters like this in such amazing shape! This one is exceptionally well done, in wonderful colors and is highly collectable. Size: M measured flat for a 38” Bust. Pit to Pt is 19” Length is 25” Sleeves - Underarm to cuff edge is 17” - can be turned up one roll to shorten if you like. This is a great all around for for a Medium size. Can also be worn by a Small as a loose, slightly oversized fit. Fit was intended to be loose and comfortable - worn unbuttoned or with the top buttons at the yoke fastened it can be worn like a jacket - which looks great over a straight or pleated skirt - true 60s fashion!
