arabellaws @graciespacie totally! I get marking up for posh fees to make back what you paid, but not for making a profit. I see it so much with GF collective and it’s contradictory to their mission of sustainable, affordable clothes for everyone 😔

graciespacie @arabellaws yeah exactly ! It doesn’t seem fair at all to me and I don’t think should be allowed on poshmark. These clothes are amazing for their price but this just seems wrong...

r8chael @graciespacie yep. Is it really worth gouging the price that high to make like a $16 profit? I think with posh fees she’ll get like $64 and I think these were $48 new? With shipping this would cost a buyer nearly double the retail price. Bold business strategy lol

I appreciate your input, but I just want to make it clear that I don’t buy these clothes with the intention to make a profit, so I don’t have a “business strategy.” However, because there is such a high demand for their limited collections, people are willing to pay more for these specialty items. Luckily Poshmark isn’t the only place to purchase Girlfriend Collective, and you too are able to purchase new items directly from their site for the original price.

itsjusstm @graciespacie totally agree, and the people that mark up the prices are why the GF site is always sold out. Based on this closet, they buy just to make up and resell high demand items from GF :( sad!

feliciarenee00 @itsjusstm These are actually all items that I have purchased for myself that didn’t work out because of size or style. I receive email updates from GF Collective and purchase things as soon as they are stocked but I often miss out on limited collections too. My closet just happens to be all GF Collective because I take all of my clothes that are not nwt to local consignment stores because the Posh fees don’t make the use of this site worth it in most cases imo. Just want to be transparent 🙂

alauracooper @feliciarenee00 if your GF items that are NWT didn’t work out for you then you should just return them to GF so they can be restocked and someone can buy them for their fair original price! What you’re doing is ripping people off, period.
