Nouveau Monde '80s-90s Blue and Antique Gold Silk Bomber-style Jacket, Size L

This lovely, lightweight 100% silk jacket is a vintage piece by Nouveau Monde. Patchwork print in mottled shades of Blue, Antique Gold, Olive and Cream covers this jacket with animal, floral and geometric shapes. Light quilting covers the collar, shoulders and goes down the top of the arms. Two slash pockets also have quilted detail. Full-length zipper in front with mock collar. There is a two-button placket to cover the zipper. Stretch cuffs and waist. This luxuriously soft jacket is in excellent used condition, with no tears, holes or worn spots. The blue lining is flawless; the chest pocket is still sewn shut. The tag is faded, but reads 100% Silk. I assume this was caused by frequent cleaning, possibly dry cleaning. The back of the tag says that the jacket is hand washable in cold water/line dry. There are no noticeable flaws to the jacket -- the elastic in the cuffs and waist may not be as tight as it was originally. This striking garment measures approximately 27" from armpit to armpit; 24" across the shoulders; 27" from shoulder to bottom, and the sleeve is approximately 21" long.
