I bought the fake on eBay thinking there was no way anyone would try to dupe it since they are already cheap. The consistency and colors of the fake are very different, the fake ones also don't have the amount of product at the bottom of the tube,and they are more glossy and see though. Kind in mind that the packaging of the fake is similar to the packaging of nyx xtreme lip cremes, which is not that same as the soft matte lip cremes. Seen some fakes on here, be careful.

lexi_lamadore @southerngal0724 I saw your comment on the NYX matte lippie. If it was a fake, then it will never dry. If it's real, did you use a lip liner before applying?

southerngal0724 Thanks for responding -- it must have been a fake because it did never dry. Just dried my lips out without any color. So irritating, and I did exfoliate my lips first and then lined them. So how do I know if this one is legitimate?

lexi_lamadore @southerngal0724 try it again without the lip liner. A lot of matte lipsticks won't dry matte if you apply a lip liner first.

lexi_lamadore @jackiebuhee aside from fakes, I've also seen people charging ridiculous amounts. This one girl literally tried selling a NYX silver eye/eyebrow pencil for $20 on here. She had it listed at $30. I called her out on it and she called me a bitch and blocked me then reposted the listing
