These pants are AWESOME for everything from rock climbing to casual wear. I did a safe, at-home dye job a few years back and have loved having my own personalized Patagonia pants. They were originally a bright blue color, which still shows in the stitching. I dyed them to a nice grey color that goes with anything. Pockets in the front, back and side! I wouldn’t be selling these if they still fit. The older style Venga pants have better fit and fabric than the new stuff they’re coming up with.

rubyamsmith These are so rad! Did you use any substance that would have weakened the fabric’s integrity to a point that it might rip more easily being stretched? I just got a pair of the older ones like these in size 8 for climbing and they’re too big so I am hoping to try a 6 and see how that goes but I don’t want to accidentally rip the butt out of them or something haha! I appreciate any feedback

ezstreets_ @rubyamsmith sorry, for some reason I’m just now seeing this! I used Rit brand color remover and then Rit dye. It was my first time dyeing pants and they were fairly unworn at the time. I’d definitely be more worried if they were a more worn-in pair. I never saw any degradation in the fabric but it’s smart to consider that.
