Hi, I am an aquatic snail breeder! DON’T BUY BIG BOX CHAIN STORE SNAILS THAT WILL INFECT YOUR AQUARIUM WITH POTENTIAL ILLNESS! *Poor quality pictures of my ramshorns- please ask for more if interested and necessary*
Ramshorn snails are great for cycling an aquarium and cleaning algae! They have so much personality and are a great addition to betta fish tanks, shrimp tanks, and other snails! I have both black and leopard, please specify if it matters 🥰 You will love adding them to your aquarium. They usually leave your healthy plants alone, and they eat all decaying matter to keep your aquarium clean! Let me know if you do not have a calcium source (as it is vitally important for snails), and I will send you a few algae wafers for free!
Disclaimer: Please add the heat pack listing if you want guaranteed live arrival during colder weather or delayed usps transits out of seller control [Not necessary for FL residents]. ❤️ However, I’ve not had a single issue yet with two-three day shipping. Snails may stay in shell for a while before coming out when newly introduced, but I promise it won’t be long before they are all over the place!

Hi, so bear with me, but our scorpion just died recently and we were considering using his old glass setup for a snail. It's about 11" long, and 7" wide, with a height of 8" roughly (loose measurements without a ruler), and a mesh lid. If we purchased one or two of your snails, what would be required to keep them happy? Like, do they need a filter or a heater in the water, or any specific light requirements? Or plants? Thank you!

@foxphoric where are you located? I do not need heaters for my snails, and most places (if kept indoors) would be fine without a heater. The water just needs to stay roughly between 68-84 degrees. My tanks stay around 78-80 degrees. Calcium is most important for snails and keeping pH at 7.0, but they do not require a filter or any other specifics! I do recommend live plants, but they will eat them if decaying. It’s a good food source for them though!
