OOAK Upcycled Flannel Magnolia Boho Shacket Shirt Doily Appliques Women's Large

I love to upcycle... turning something blah into a unique piece that is fun and brings a smile to your heart. When you wear it, you can't help but be happy and feel empowered because you are being unique and not concerned about what others think. Dress to express, not to impress! As soon as I saw this great spring purple plaid, with its lightweight material, ideas came to mind. This is a Fashion Bug tunic in a women's size large. The size has not been altered, but it has been cut up the middle and a single vintage button has been added. On each side a vintage doily has been cut and sewn on to add a sweet but sassy flare. The bottom has a raw edge, slightly ruffled trim, in coordinating fabrics. It has 3/4 length sleeves, perfect for spring and summer, plus you don't have to roll them up, having to deal with the bulk of the roll like on other flannel shirts. On the back you will find a vintage doily, in the center there is part of a vintage pink doily, and down below there is one sewn on to resemble a flower. I decided not to bleach or distress this one in any way. I think is it perfect just the way it is. It is designed to wear with a tank or t-shirt under it. This is versatile, as you could wear it like a jacket as well. With its loose fit and lightweight material, it makes for an extra comfy fit.
