ORIGINAL Peg's Companion, May 16, 1922 Antique Pulp British 1920s '20s Magazine (1)
"Peg's Companion" was published as a companion to "Peg's Paper". It is smaller than the issues of the latter magazine that I have.
Condition: Good for age and type. All pages intact and secured. The staples holding the magazine together have rusted, part of the cover has been rubbed off at the top, and there is some faint penciled writing at the top right corner of the cover. Price reflects minor flaws.
Since the magazine itself has no table of contents, I shall list the contents myself here, in order:
"Her Marriage of Terror" by Esther Kent (short story)
"Cinema Chats" by "Peg" (interview with Harrison Ford)
"Crochet Mascots" by [unsigned] (column with crochet pattern)
"Her Unmarried Husband" by Kathleen O'Halloran (installment of a serial story)
"The Veiled Princess" by "The Veiled Princess" (horoscope)
"Secrets of Stage Stars" by "Peg" (interview)
"The Confessions of a Girl Wife" by Kathleen Sinclair (installment of a serial story -- supposedly a true one)
"Peg's Little Hospital" (health column)
"Loved By An Actor" by Dorothy West (short story)
"My Mother's Page" by the mother of "Peg" (advice column)
"Answers to Correspondents" by "Peg" (advice column)
In addition, the magazine contains lots of black and white illustrations and photographs and advertisements of various sorts.
