This is an ostby barton brooch sterling silver filagree gorgeous work good condition not perfect but pretty good one side has an indentation which can probably be fixed pretty easily. It was sad when the grey ship went down but you can own a piece of history and a good story with this brooch. "Englehart C. Ostby, who was returning to America from Europe after a gem-buying trip. The 65-year-old Ostby was among the more than 1,500 passengers and crew members who died when the ship struck an iceberg and sank during its maiden voyage in 1912."
