There is minimal pilling, I will even touch it up before shipping as most of the little pills visible in the photos are able to be removed. There is one very small defect on the back of the sweater, shown in photos. It's a very small pull in the knit, didn't notice it at all when wearing it, only noticed it when taking photos for this listing.
