Super cute and unique genuine turquoise ring with a dainty teardrop shape that flatters the fingers and hands. I absolutely LOVE the combination of the dark forest green with the bright blue! Very rare to find such exquisite colors together in one piece of turquoise.
This is a standout statement piece. Can pair with diamonds, can wear with gold or silver, looks great with other blue stones like opal or aquamarine, etc. Have fun with it! 🩵💙💚
I bought this from a respected turquoise/old pawn dealer, who thought it might be Bisbee from the famed mine in Arizona. I actually see similarities with the Thunder Mountain mine in Nevada! The smooth, shiny dark chocolate cherry matrix and the forest green color are unique identifiers. Thunder Mountain is a small mine that produces a very limited amount each year, so it’s a rare variety. It’s always fun trying to ID vintage turquoise!

@skippii Hi there, great question! The inside is stamped 925, and then on the outside it says ‘Sterling’ and a trio of letters that I can’t quite make out. Looks like the last two letters are ‘RR’? I added some closeup pics to the listing. Please reach out with any other questions! 🩵

@mstar a little odd the back is open. Most native pieces are solid sterling under the stone...

@skippii Also it’s common for fine jewelry to have open backs underneath stones. It’s healthy for the stones, increases the longevity of the piece, and the turquoise is gorgeous to look at from the back side. Again, feel free to ask any further questions.
