Old Gentleman's Whiskey flask. 19th century, Sheffield England

Old Gentleman's flask. 19th century, Sheffield England. Made of glass. Measures 5’ 1/4” high…3 1/8 wide. Bottle with rounded shoulders made of old, Victorian glass. The bottom- half of the bottle is protected by a metal cover, and well-fitting, but removable, showing a gold washed interior. This is silver plated. The hinged cap appears to be sterling silver, but is unmarked. It does rotate to lock and unlock. The original cork lining is still present.
