Old Mexican Pottery Round Dishes Handle Nesting Bowls Tlaquepaque, Rustic Decor Farmhouse, Southwestern Home Bohemian Ceramics Redware
These three charming old Tlaquepaque round bowls with handles feature geometric designs, the colors deepened from age and a beautiful rustic patina. They have slightly different designs, yet the style of paint on the handles is similar. And isn't that how the best decor is? Not matchy-matchy yet complementary?
These are classic early Mexican pottery, circa 1940s-50s, and although they do fit into one another you can add twine to the handles to display them. The beauty of these--they are great display sizes, for the wall or on a shelf or glass-doored hutch alongside other Old Mexican pottery. These pieces are for display only, as glazes from this era often contained lead, so if you want 'em...flaunt 'em!
The largest bowl measures about 9.5" in diameter and the smallest is 6" in diameter. All have areas where the glaze and paint have flaked off and surface chips. Also there is some roughness along outer edges. Together they weigh about 3.10 pounds without packing materials and will be reinforced for shipping.
