Old about me My mother passed after a 10 year battle w kidney disease- what a warrior at age 89! She will be missed never forgotten until we meet again. I'm Darla aka Dee! Welcome to my closet! Stay awhile I’ve over 1500 items 4 sale & use the filter button I sell mostly Vintage & costume jewelry w some clothes from me & family. I love estate sales & finding treasures! My closet has much variety! Womens, mens used, NWT, vintage & jewelry 4 every budget! All packaged securely and w care toward recycling & re-purposing. I change my look a lot see pics. I’m a 60-70’s kid -can u tell? We are in VA & live on a working farm! We love it - so beautiful here. It’s very different than anything we’ve ever done were from the NM & AZ desert area. Pic 2 w me/mom 89 yrs & me, dad/son. Dad/son/me, my mom & my son, our CC crazy cat & our lab hound Bailey & Sadie mix breaker & sheltie too! C my stats 2 I started posh 2 help bff 2-2015 w medical. Now I use $ to help my medical & other people in need. I’m still loving it after 8+ years! God is good, Amen! 🌻🌻🌻is often my signature here. It’s 4 my sister who loved them & is in heaven. I often tell him he GAVE me a sweet tooth when i was preggo bc that's when i started liking candy, lol. 😄 he doesn't want to dress up to go to the mall which is the only place in town that does trick or treat. Hubby & son went to see a few of his family in AZ after Christmas. I missed them bunches! but we had snow here, woohoo! A rare thing! How was yours?

lynda721 Whoops! I just saw in the Item Description that is your Mom. How old is she? My father and mother were 19 years apart! So he was a bachelor until he was 45. Not only did he not look his age, he didn’t act it either. Our neighborhood was a new development at the time (approx 1960) and all of the kids played together. All of the adults would gather together and sit and drink their cocktails and we would eat BBQ and run back off to go play again!

grace4d @lhaag721 sounds like my growing up years too! Such a free spirit as kids in the 60's even with the all the crisis we had (that our parents protected us from). My mother is 85 years. Tho I lost my biological dad early, my step dad was the best & he almost made it to 90 years. We miss him so much but my mother is despondent still. I wish my kids could exp what we had!

grace4d @rebecca_park there are millions sharing items & likely thousands with your brand & category. So - repeatedly sharing ur items bumps ur items up in the search feed. I share mine about 3 times a day. Look at ur stats on self shares. Recommended amounts are 20k-30k shares per month. Seems alot. Also gaining followers will help too.

Also u can follow my followers & other closets too. There are hundreds of share games to increase ur items exposure too! Hope that helps some.

I actually started an account with Poshmark thinking that I could sell my hand-poured soy candles and melts and found out later that I'm not supposed to, do although I have seen people sell candles on Poshmark I am going to comply with the rules. grace4d @1debra9974 in just a week or so home items will be approved 4 sale on posh! So ur good there - all home decor except furniture will be allowed. As 4 inventory organization - when I list an item I bag it & put it in a large tote (sweaters, tops, jeans). Jewelry I put in smaller totes by type. I have 11 totes lol! Keeping the closet is just how I feel - by color or by type. I share my stuff at least once a day to followers & to several parties. :D

My FB is 4 family & friends so I only have a link to posh there. Posh says sales are 20% higher if we post to social media but I haven't noticed a difference (bc I've not many followers lol)

After 2 years I started selling wholesale & things started rolling. I'm not full time yet tho! I do make 6 digits part time. I have a 13 yr old so his schedule is mine. Getting more followers is how u find buyers & share urs everyday. I'd recommend u see poshkings closet to connect w other men & follow their followers.

She was beautiful but sadly we lost her after 18 wonderful years a few months ago. The other 2 are also chihuahuas. I only have 1 left he just turned 19.🤗love our fur babies. 🌻🌹

The boy named Boo in the top left is the one who is still w me. He'll be 20 in May. He never leaves my side when I'm near. So precious! Love is unconditional from fur babies & I just love them so ❤

grace4d @2girls2122 yes 4 or 5 dollars isn't much after posh takes the 2.95 out. I rarely sell something for that low unless It's added to a bundle. I think this is a hobby 4 some & others just want to recycle knowing that often donations to goodwill or other places ends up tossed in a landfill. 🙂🌻

2girls2122 @grace4d Oh we have a real lot we give all the time and they give us a paper and we go by the sheet for dress, pants etc to fill out...These are the things that have a pull or just overworn etc...They don't resell them they give them to the poor that have nothing..I appreciate the feedback we couldn't figure it out when we see a low item amount.. grace4d @2girls2122 i'm glad ur area recycles to help ppl. here they toss alot! even at estate sales - that I go to - they toss things they can't get much 4 like clothes. designer or known brands being the exception. We have goodwill & salvation army & it is a mid size town. Awhile back a reporter went & discovered how much gets thrown away at larger goodwill sorting facility. Blessings to u - whether it be Christmas or Hanukkah! 🌻🌹

My bff lost her young son in an accident 24 years ago & she is still struggling. I had my son in my 40’s. He is my joy & I can’t even imagine losing him. Also reading on ur vertigo & I have had it since 1995. It never goes away but lessens sometimes. Mine is called cervical vertigo. I pray u get better & I am so sorry 4 ur loss.❤️🙏❤️

She surprises us as it should send her 2 heaven but nope! She tells me it’s bc she wants 2 see my son graduate HS. He’s in 9th. So sweet. She has memory loss but so far only short term. His blood sugar dropped super low, and his potassium level is dangerously high. He is at the vet. High potassium level could damage his heart. He can't come home until his potassium level drops to a healthy level. He is on an iv because he still won't eat on his own. Very likely he has Addison disease. 😭😭😭🙏🙏🙏

micahz @grace4d I don't believe Virginia is quite as humid as Mississippi though it is normal for us to have temperatures in the 90s during the summer months. with your great attitude I believe yo u will do fine no matter where you end up. Virginia is like several States rolled into one meaning Northern Virginia is very urban because it is so close to Washington DC. Sunflowers absorb pollutants, including radioactive metals.They are planted in toxic nuclear sites, where they absorb the waste from the soil and water. The flowers are then collected and disposed of as nuclear waste. Sunflowers have been used to help clean up waste in places like Chernobyl and former missile silos.

grace4d @maidmarian Sure! I’ve found a natural background looks best - either a stone or wood surface. I’d say the ones I pose with sell faster so that’s important w the background making it pop. Nearly all mine are posed by me & the ones I can’t wear I still use the geode slice to contrast. This type I try to show standing so it can be seen as a bracelet rather than a necklace. I’m not sure what else other than taking pics of all angles & decent

It’s my favorite place to go. There’s no charge. Of course ruby lane and ebayer are both a treasure trove of info on vintage. Just do ur research before u List each one & do a search on posh too 4 comparison pricing. I wrap w double bubble 1 being the velvet bag 2 seconds wrap on that. You can video it if ur worried about receipts.

grace4d @barbbrown2 if they are over $500 posh handles that for you. You mail ur rings to poshmark they will authenticate and mail to your buyer. Insurance is usually covered by posh. If under $500 you will mail directly to the customer and posh covers it if it’s lost. I’ve never had any problems in the 7 years I’ve been here. Hope that answers you better!

So I understand the grief, I wish I could say time heals but, after 7 years I miss him more than ever. I'm here if you ever need to talk, cry, anything! People have given me so much advice to cope but for me keeping his memory alive is all that helps so far. I talk to him, I never took any pictures down.
