PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASING Your hat brim may become wavy or disfigured during shipping. This is normal because of the material of the hat and solution used to make the brim stiff. When it becomes warm it will take shape of whatever it leans against. This is a super easy fix so follow the instructions below to reshape! Tips for taking care of your Hat: Wavy / Warped Brim If the hat is misshaped after shipping don’t panic-please follow these instructions Easiest way: set the hat on a flat clean surface in a warm sunny spot and in 10 min the hat should loosen up and lay flat. Or… Designate a clean flat surface that can withstand heat. Use your iron on steamer setting (make sure it's pushing out a lot of steam) or if you have a steamer (best option) lightly brush the hot air around the brim either on the specific spot you're trying to flatten, or the whole way around. Immediately after steaming — and while your hat is still warm and soft, take it over to the designated surface and lay it flat. Push down on the brim to make it even flatter! (Tip: use a few heavy books to get that brim really flat.) Count down 5 minutes and voilà! Your brim should be stiff again and back in shape! If you prefer a bend in your hat for a more western look Repeat the process as needed until the desired shape is achieved.
