@hobbyjob Hi! Slightly lower than knee high, but not mid calf. On me they are about 3" below bottom of the knee at the top of the calf. Hope that helps. Let me know if you have any other questions. Have a great night!

For me they are and 8 even with thicker socks I have room. In boots I only wear an 8, but for shoes sometimes a 7.5 is the right fit. I am not a carpenter, but at the widest part of the toe it measured 3 3/4", 10 1/4" heel to toe on the sole. The shaft was 13"
