cacs47 @imsoupergrl thank you ? I buy my professional color at Sally's beauty supply also on line I use clairol 204RR it is a beautiful copper bright red. Because my hair is more gray now I put 1/3 or 1/4 of 203 RR which is darker. Still comes out beautiful red. WHAT matters is the color of your hair . If it is already light and you need less level of developer I use 20 volume. When my hair was dark brown I needed 40 vol. mixed equal parts to get the lift. Now I am really just depositing the color on gray hair. I know exactly what I am doing. I don't suggest ever trying it yourself. Just to say tell here the clairol 204 RR is striking ! It is definitely NOT strawberry blonde I am noted for my red hair. I even go further and put a non permanent red stain on it a really bad messy Process I would not recommend. Jo
