@karens54 Yes was circuit champion 4 times! This is one year the used to before new management award the champion the night of the American Invitational! (Tampa) we had a home there too! But my husband is sick, I have retired that horse here in Tennessee with me. Moved here almost a year ago to be with his kids he has Alzheimer's and had back surgery too! Do you show too? Or are you from there?

@wlew small world! I lived in Wellington and worked out at Palm Beach Polo first for Maggie Scherer @ Palm Beach Designs and then later for Douglas Mutch when she left Maggie to start her own business. I was there from 87-97 when I got married.

We went to polo often and always had a tent at the horse shows for the business. I loved it there and only left to travel with my husband once I got married.

@karens54 Yes small world! I showed in the hunters, so not like the Grand Prix! We also had a condo in palm beach polo, that the brother lives in now. Love it in Welly world! I did the older adults, so I'm no youngsters! We were there from 99'-2010 so a good run

I'm so sorry to hear about your husband. I worked in unit with 22 patients that had AlZ it's hard on all of you. God has your back! Did you know the same gene (21) that affects babies with down syndrome is also the gene that forms into ALZ.

@wlew glad you'll get to see your horse tomorrow! This week flew by. Do you believe we had to turn the heat back on on Tuesday? It was so cold, rainy and windy that it felt like winter. Not fun. Things are good, I just wish the weather would be nicer. Enjoy your day tomorrow🐎

@jalynn123 I'm in Brentwood! I do have a lot of English tack! I have everything! Maybe we could set up a day? My bridles are made by Jimmy's Saddlery so there expensive! I have coolers bandage wraps bell boots shin boots ect! Some thing in Franklin where my horse is

I'm not sure what all I need lol I just switched from western pleasure to the English circuit because I found a beautiful dressage saddle lol so now I need the tack I am in school so I don't have a lot of money... @jalynn123 No have never been there. I brought my horse to retire here, but he's not out all the time yet, not accepting his age(20). I only kept a few pairs of breeches in case I ride again for pleasure. Good luck ! I rode western also as a kid, but was riding English also

@wlew that's nothing there a 22yr Old Arabian at my barn you would think that he's only like 6or 7 trust me some horses age gracefully I have a 32yr Old Shetland (est. By the vet )

@jalynn123 I don't have polo's but shin boots and hind boots. Not sure how many saddle pads, I will look Friday when I'm out there, I have tons of baby pads to go under saddle pads for at home use. I really don't know what I have! I gave and sold so much as I had 4 horses in Ohio and now just 1 there and 1 here!!

I know.Pretty cool memory I bet! I was reading your posts. So sad what you and Mike are going through now. Alz sucks indeed! Not at all anything you ever imagined would happen. I work at a senior residential community so I've seen how it affects the person and everyone involved. My heart goes out to you both.

And yes my grand daughter had surgery - it was the ears throat and adnoids - she is doing great now - just needed a break from posh for a little bit - I wish I were closer I would most definite help :( - hope all goes well with the move - And u get situated quickly - I'll be on and off -
