One of a kind Mr Blackwell Custom, 1960's vintage bombshell gown, metallic

Richard Blackwell was an American fashion critic, journalist, television and radio personality and fashion designer. Known as Mr. Blackwell, he was the creator of the "Ten Worst Dressed Women List", an annual awards presentation he unveiled each January. He published the "Fabulous Fashion Independents" list and an annual Academy Awards fashion review. This one of a kind, custom made gown by Mr Blackwell is the epitome of high fashion in the 1960s. Own a rare piece of wearable history, it is in mint condition. It features a deep green and blue floral pattern over gold lamé, with a green satin lining and a A tiny bow detail at the top of the back zipper. The thoughtfully boned top flatters the wearer. Lay flat measurements are 18" across bust, 13.75" across waist, 19.75 across hip. 56 1/2" long. Generous shoulder straps would allow for alteration if needed. It's fabulous!
