bmrsnrally @lmarie403 Hi Leah! The most important thing to get a host pick is to be sure that your closet follows all Posh rules. I'll be honest, it took me a little bit to learn them all (at least I'm assuming I've learned them all now!) So to help I'll let you know what I do know to be the rules: -No paypal, or advertising/discuss using other sites for selling like ebay, or generally taking transactions off Posh -No selling or buying perfume, used cosmetics, electronics, skincare/haircare products, men's or children's items, used undergarments, or used swimswear -As for trading my understanding is that it is not forbidden by Posh, but that it is not supported by Posh. In other words, it's highly discouraged and they won't back you/help you out if you get scammed trading. It seems like the Posh-verse is kind of split on this topic on if it's truly against Posh rules, or if it's just not supported by Posh. Because of this, and the fact that if you get screwed, well, you're screwed, I have chosen to stick with the no trading policy. -Covershots: This is very important too.. Hosts love pretty & clear covershots! Just be sure that your items stand out in your photos. You can do little things too, like add a necklace to a plain top in the photo & make it that much cuter. Okay, so now that you're following all the Posh rules & have great covershots, the key is to network with the hosts! :) This is fun because getting involved with more people on here makes it more exciting for everyone. On the Poshmark blog they announce the parties for the week and who the hosts are. Follow the hosts and start convos with them. Also, many of them will have a posting in their closet that they are hosting a party soon. So, comment on their posting supporting them, share some of your favorite items from their closet, and many times they will ask for rule-following Posher's to tag them in a listing that goes with their party theme. These things will get them to check out your closet, and hopefully a host pick! Sorry for the novel, but since you asked I wanted to give you all of the tips that I have gotten that have really helped me! Good luck!

bmrsnrally @lmarie403 Oops! I forgot a very important Posh rule! (You probably already know this, but just in case..) It's also against Posh policy to sell/buy "inspired" or fake designer items like knockoff MK bags, or CC earrings etc.
