Charming and unique Origami Rose necklace to symbolize the Inner Garden in each of us. Its creation was inspired by the classic children's novel "The Secret Garden" written by Frances Hodgson Burnett in 1911 - a beautiful tale of hope, resilience, and friendship. Materials... I hand folded the Rose pendant using original pages of a discarded 1938 edition of the book. It features a shimmering handmade green dichroic glass cab in its center and a stainless-steel key charm. It comes on a black satin cord with a lobster clasp closure. Mixed metal findings used are nickel and lead free. Size... Large, yet lightweight and comfortable, you'll forget you're wearing it. The pendant measures about 8.5 x 4.5 x x 2 cm (3.5 x 1.75 x 0.75 in) - including the key charm. The satin cord is 41 cm (16 in) long + 5 cm (2 in) extender chain. I can change cord length if you wish. Care... Coated with a matte acrylic varnish to harden it for durability while retaining its lovely paper appearance, the pendant will resist moisture, UVs, bends, and tears. Even so, this jewelry remains paper and will need to be kept away from direct contact with water. Your earrings will arrive packaged in a window gift box. Love this Whimsy?
