Original 1928 University of Illinois Poster

University of Illinois football poster framed. Shows two Illini players in action, and the 1928 schedule. The schedule shows the second home game was against "Coe." The schedule states that no reserved seats were being sold for the obscure Coe. Guess Illinois didn't expect a huge crowd for that one (Illinois beat Coe 31-0). But their final two home games were against Northwestern and Ohio State and prices went up from $1.50 to $3.00 for those Big Ten contests. Dimensions: W 23" D 5/8" X H 29-1/4". The poster is framed on a light black resin frame and plexiglass. Poster shows minor discoloration, small creasing around the white frame area. Overall the 96 years old poster is in good vintage soon antique condition according to its age and history. Identical poster "Sold" for $398.40 (Photo attached).
