Handmade Large Oil Painting by CEO (that's me)!! This is a landscape of an evening mountain range next to an enchanting lake. This evening painting is made with oil paints and has texture from the paint brush strokes. It is 16"x20"x1/2" in size. Please see the pictures and video for up close details of the texture throughout the painting. Note: The painting does not wrap around the sides or bottoms, it will look great framed as the sides and bottom will be covered by the frame. It does have some paint marks on the bottom and side from my creative process. Imagine a calm evening lakeside with the sun setting and the mountains are starting to go dark, but not before the purples, blues and reds transform the surroundings. The crickets are chirping now that the birds have retired for the night. Soon after you can hear the frogs serenade you with the crickets as you doze off to sleep in the tranquility of their song..... Where will this painting take you? Please share in a comment. πŸ’•πŸ€© My signature is CEO in red paint 🎨 in the bushes on the left side of the bank. It is inconspicuous. πŸ–Ό I have not made any prints of this painting, so you will have my only one. πŸ₯³ This painting will need to ship separately from anything else in my closet. Bundle me a message and we can discuss discounted or free shipping! Thanks for stopping by!! Happy Poshing!

gessojar I want to go hiking in this lovely landscape πŸ˜… and after an awesome hike, I think I'd take a rowing boat out on that tranquil lake & probably just fall asleep under the stars 😊🌌 What inspired you to create this lovely painting? πŸ™πŸ’•βœ¨

cristieo2014 @gessojar Thank you for that beautiful visual! 🀩 It is my love for Bob Ross (The Happy Little Tree, painter) that is the inspiration for this painting. I first learned oil painting from Bob. πŸ’–πŸŽ¨πŸ–Ό

gessojar @cristieo2014 I used to love watching Bob Ross. I'm inspired by Van Gogh & his thick, directional brushwork, but I naturally gravitate to the "wipe out" method with oil painting (as seen in my Nikola Tesla portrait). I also love Henry Matisse & how he simplified everything in a masterly way. "It took me four years to paint like Raphael, but a lifetime to paint like a child." β€”Pablo Picasso πŸ’•βœ¨

cristieo2014 @gessojar Thsnk you for your insight. I find your art captivating. What is the wipe out method? πŸ’•πŸŽ¨πŸ–Ό

gessojar @cristieo2014 Thank you Crissy, the "wipe out" method is awesome. Essentially, I would lightly coat a substrate with a dark oil color & then simply wipe off where the light areas should be πŸ˜ŠπŸ’œβœ¨

cristieo2014 @gessojar Thanks for the explanation Mike. So, the wipeout method is a monochromatic method. I looked at your Tesla painting again and see what you explained. Like I said before, your art is fascinating! πŸ’•πŸŽ¨πŸ–ΌCrissy
