Beautiful black lace up boots with Louis heels circa late 1910s to early 1920s. They are branded as the "Shelby Shoe Co”
Very pretty with a narrow, pointed toe. These are so elegant!
+++ Measurements +++
Sizing on boots is always approximate, and I urge you to take careful measurements and ask any questions prior to purchasing.
I believe these are an approximate size 6-6.5 US women's, but please check the following measurements.
11” inner sole length (keep in mind the very pointed toe)
3”width measured across the bottom of the sole at the ball of the foot, and 8 1/2” circumference at the same spot measured from the outside
2 1/2” heel
10” total height
+++ Condition +++
Excellent antique condition with some minor wear commensurate with age. The leather is in excellent shape, soft and supple.?There is some light scuffing on the soles. They present beautifully.
These are wearable with care, but do keep in mind they are antiques. I highly suggest finding a good cobbler. It is usually quite affordable to have repairs done.
These boots were made to last a lifetime, and with the proper care and repairs when needed, they will!
