Original du Frisand Loden GreenTrench Coat Belgium Tunmer Mens 44 1980’s Vintage

Vintage Men’s size 44 du Frisand Loden. Made in Belgium. Dark olive green wool trench coat (loden). We believe this was made for Tunmer Sportswear (France) in the 1980’s. We also believe this was meant to be a fairly authentic reproduction of a WWI military trench coat. Simple single breasted design, no belt to snag on anything. It is unlined, and has under arm vents. Extra high, double thick collar. It also has the accessory button-up neck flap to seal the gap with collar is up. Covered front buttons. Coat fits close to a US 44 Regular. We would best describe the fit as a looser 42 or tighter 44. Might be tight in the shoulders for an athletic or husky build. 40” coat length from shoulder to hem. Measures approximately 17.5” across the shoulders from the back, and approximately 18” from armpit seam to armpit seam. This is an extremely high quality coat, and is in excellent condition with no signs of wear or damage. Ships well packed from our smoke-free, Western Massachusetts shop. As-is.
